The cries of the young man are heard by a Nightingale who thought that finally, he has met a true lover.Nightingale who thought that finally, he has met a true lover.by the daughter of a professor who would only dance with him if he brought her a red rose. The cries of the young man are heard by a Nightingale who thought that finally, he has met a true lover.
“Here, at last, is the true lover”
Hence the bird sacrifices herself by pressing the heart against a thorn of a rose tree. It is symbolically wild paradigm that love must be sacrificial.
At the same time, the student found a red rose and rushed to the girl to give it. But he has no use of it as she had been already given jewels. She refuses him. She scoffs at the gift of wonderful red rose and scorn him and mercilessly reject as being only a student. The student in anger and disgust threw away the flower where it is crushed under the cartwheel. The precious red rose was obtained at the cost of a life. It at last thrown away on the street. It is hard to imagine that Nightingale met a painful death just for the sake of hypocritical love. The sacrifices of the bird was a noble act but it results in a fruitless result, the flower threw away  where it is crushed under the cartwheel. The male student seems to be almost broken and the promise made to the Nightingale was almost falsified. He cursed the girl as well as love. He says “What a silly thing love is” Because she is frustrated by the rejection of lady love. Indeed both of them take the life as a light play thing toy. In the end the truth down on the student that love would give him and decides to get back to his study. His realization is good and it would only help him to succeed in future from this we too have a lesson that is people are not always what they seem to be and before making sacrifice we should count the price of it. We should not throw away our precious love for people or things that are not worthy of it.
The Nightingale and rose is a very poignant story. A Nightingale is a small songbird that is associated with love, innocence, and romance and it represents goodness and virtue. At a deeper level, Nightingale could be assumed to represent the author Wilde the red rose could be taken to represent artistic representation and unrequited love. The symbol criticizes the society’s lack of appreciation for the art. The oak tree seems to suggest the wisdom of the student’s lack. The girl, daughter of professor apparently suggest materialism and superficial values. love, innocence, and romance and it represent goodness and virtue. There are many themes in the story. The important is love. It is conveyed through the action of the Nightingale. The little bird demonstrates how one would sacrifices himself in order to make another happy. True love needs a sacrifice. important is love. It is conveyed through the action of the Nightingale. “Death is the greatest price to pay for a red rose”
In our world, people make different types of sacrifices every day. But there is no greatest than one’s life. The Nightingale made the ultimate sacrifice by the noble death.greatest than one’s life. The Nightingale made the ultimate sacrifice by the noble death.greatest by the noble death.greatest than one’s life. The Nightingale made the ultimate sacrifice by the noble death.
Further, the Nightingale is the representative of true love. She sacrifices his life for the male student. She uses her life to revive the rose bush. The bird unconditionally wants the best for the male student just as the mother who cared about the child. But the student is ungrateful. But the student couldn’t understand her and effects. The sacrifice of its fairy mother is neglected. It is easy for the reader to accept the imagination elements and exaggeration in the story like a fairy tale. Personify animal and plants are used to illustrate the different perspective of love.
Love is better than life”
The above quotation is a notable one these words can’t be compared to anything. The Nightingale is romantically idealist but the green lizard is cynical. The oak tree is generous on the contrary. The Nightingale is compared with human characters. This little bird believes in the intrinsic value of love, but the daughter of the professor only believe in material possession. Finally the male student also different. He gives up the girl as soon as she turned him down and reject his love completely.idealist but the green lizard is cynical. There is a connection shown between the portrayal, arts, and romance. Both can be seen as having merits because both do not understand easily. The Nightingale is a musician and understands love. The student does not see values of art and eventually gives up the love while perhaps. Things that love and appreciation of art are linked. And those who believe in true love can understand art well.merits.merits because both do not understand easily. The Nightingale is a musician and understands love.
